Screening for cancer
In Denmark, we have screening programmes for breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bowel cancer.
These cancers are the most common and cause many deaths every year.
- Screening for breast cancer is offered to all women between 50 and 69 years.
- Screening for cervical cancer is offered to all women between 23 and 64 years
- Screening for bowel cancer is offered to all citizens between 50 and 74 years.
